Join the Tumut community for a 5km and 10km race along our beautiful riverfront paths or bring the whole family for the colour run. 

We are excited to bring an active and fun opportunity back to the Festival weekend and hope to see you there, enjoying the fresh air and beautiful autumn colours that Tumut has to offer.

5km/10km 

The course starts in Pioneer Park and follows the footpath towards the Riverglade Caravan Park, before crossing into the Wetlands and making a loop before returning back to Pioneer Park at the 5km mark. 10km runners complete two laps of the course. A map of the course is provided below, and the route will be marshalled for safety.

Awards are given to the top 3 females and males in each category (Under 14, Open, and Masters).

Under 14s - $5 for either event.

Prices increase by $5 on 22 April so register early and save!

Colour Run

This is an untimed, fun event! The course will be set up in Pioneer Park & Bila Park and participants can complete as many laps as they would like. This event also serves as a fundraiser for Big Brothers, Big Sisters Tumut's  Larapinta Trek team and an optional donation can be made when registering. Registration is still required for liability waiver purposes- please choose either 'Donate Now!' ($5) or 'Donate Later' ($0) when registering.

8:45 am - Safety briefing for 5km/10km

9:00 am- Start of 5km and 10km races

10:00- 10:30 am - Colour Run registration 

10:15 am- Awards for 5km & 10km races

10:30 am - Colour Run starts

11:30 am- All events finish
